Blended Goodness

So, this is a bit sad to admit, but we
received this blender as a wedding
gift nearly 10 months ago
and I finally got around to using it this
past month.Well, I wish I had used it sooner
because it's a new favorite appliance around here!This is what we've been having for breakfast at our
home recently...freshly blended fruit smoothies!!
Yum! So delicious and best of all good for you!It's such an easy way to start your day
off "healthy" and I've noticed
I feel more energized too!

Vintage Finds

Here's my latest "vintage find"...found only on Etsy at a shop called
Hope and Joy Home ...
They're old dug bottles that are 100 years old. That's OLD!! ...and they're purple...and I'm in complete love with them. I kept them grouped together, filled them with little flowers and placed them in my bathroom on the windowsill. ...and voila...Perfect!

Kisses on Valentines Day

A kiss in the park at sunset...
and another one at the ice cream parlor...
I guess I love to kiss Jono everywhere we go!

Jono woke me up on Valentines Day and told me he loved me. Then, he handed me a big red heart that was decorated in lace and a flower and best of all filled with lots of chocolate! He said to me "I picked out the prettiest one, just for you!" After our coffee and samplings from the red heart, we got ready for a special Valentines Day. Jono took me to a French Cafe for lunch called "Rue de Jean"...and I must say it was tres bien! We went the aquarium, strolled the historic streets and gardens and ended with a kiss at "White Point Gardens" overlooking the Ashley River. Very romantic! Oh, and at the last minute on the way home, Jono literally swerved into "Ye Ole Fashion Cafe" for some ice cream and another kiss. :)

Oh, something so funny...when I told my sister about our day she said "Whoaaa!!!...Sounds like you guys took a field trip for Valentines Day!" haha...

Yes...a romantic field trip! It was great!

Is it really January 28?? Really??

Where have the past 2 months gone?? Let me tell you, they have certainly flown by for me!! December was super busy for my shop with all of the Holiday orders. It was awesome! My studio desk pretty much looked like this the entire month of December...
So, with some of the "down time" that comes after the wonderful holiday frenzy at the shop, I've decided to give my studio a makeover. Well, it's not that it "needs" a makeover really...I just want to give it one! So, I just ordered this fabulous book called "Where Woman Create" and I can't wait to get inspired for my new studio makeover....
I am thinking of painting all of the furniture white and re-painting the walls too...maybe like a French inspired, shabby chic feel??!! I can't wait to get started. I will definitely update my poor little ole' blog with pictures as I go. I LOVE doing before & after pictures...so much fun!
