Studio "after" pictures

Here is my new little workspace...AKA...Lula Boutique's Studio! ;)
As you can see...I've painted the desk and the chair black and recovered the seat with fabric from a jacket (which you can see the before pics here if you'd like). By the way, the desk is really not that "shiny" in person. The glare from the sun pouring through the window today made it quite the challenge for me to get a "true" shot of what they really look like. Much more of a "flat" paint.

The chandelier is also my recently thrifted find and I just adore it! I'm contemplating painting it black too!?! Hmmn...I have to admit though, I really liked this desk when it was white and I'm sure it will go back to white someday...But for now I am very happy with the way it turned out and with my new space. I feel more organized for sure!

Thanks for looking! Cheers!

What a great studio space. We just moved and are in the middle of getting the studio together. Hopefully I'll be posting some photos of mine, soon.

That seat turned out perfectly :) Do you have a name for the color of paint you used?

It looks just fabulous!
I'm hoping to come across a great desk find like you. Our spare room is just itching to become my studio! I can't even imagine having all of my supplies in one spot.
