We had a gorgeous weekend here in Charleston, South Carolina! It was sunny with blue skies and 75 degree with lovely breezes. It was a "every window in our home was open" kind of weekend. Just perfect if you ask me!So, how do you start off such a perfect Sunday? Bake homemade scones of course! Jono had never had a scone before! I know..I couldn't believe it! You think you know somebody! ;) Well, before baking them, he asked me what a scone was. Well, I figured out the best way to describe a scone. It's kind of like a biscuit and cake mixed together. Yes...I think that makes sense! ha!
We enjoyed these scones with the most delicious
Wild Maine Blueberry Jam!!
Yum!! I think we need to make this a habit for Sunday mornings from now on!
